Event Description
A free workshop for both homeowners and renters who are interested in learning about lowering energy usage in the home. The program will review the latest in energy saving tips, as well as specifically demonstrate how to use materials in tool kits available for checkout from the local public libraries.
3C-REN’s DIY Home Energy Savings Toolkit gives you the tools you need for basic upgrades to your home, along with easy-to-follow instructions. Included are items you can keep and install in your home, such as LED light bulbs, to start saving energy immediately, as well as tools to use and return when you’re finished.
3C-REN is a partnership between San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara, and Ventura Counties, and provides professional trainings and incentives to property owners for making energy efficiency improvements.
