Agriculture Energy Solutions

3C-REN offers free technical assistance to farmers with high energy consumption, such as controlled environment agriculture (CEA) farmers, through the Agriculture Energy Solutions program. 

The program is designed to help farmers understand their facility’s energy use and identify ways to save money by reducing utility bills and providing program referrals to access incentives for equipment upgrades that save energy. 

The program offers three phases of technical assistance to provide flexibility for your specific needs:

1. Utility Bill Review
2. Facility Site Assessment
3. Benchmarking

Agriculture Energy Solutions identifies the biggest drivers of energy usage and potential utility rate changes or equipment upgrades to help reduce utility costs.
